Kaduna (13th -15th May).
The objective of the course was to develop counseling skills and competences of selected participants who have been charged with the responsibility of providing counseling as an Employee Assistance Program in CBN.
The program served to improve the skills and competencies of the participants which they require to excel in their new task of becoming workplace counselors. In addition, the presentation on counseling processes and psychotherapy techniques equipped the counselors with the appropriate model of counseling for each unique counselee case that maybe encountered.
The 3-day intensive training evoked enthusiasm on the part of the participants and with the new skills and competencies acquired, they are eager to kick start the counseling process in the Bank.
